Position Overview dormakaba is seeking a Production Planner based in Chino, CA. The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials between production cells and departments to guarantee accurate and timely execution of orders, to satisfy Customers’ needs. As part of this effort, the production planner creates and distributes production schedules; confers with other departments to determine progress of work and completion dates; reviews inventory levels and participates in resolving production problems. HIRING SALARY RANGE: Base Salary $70,000 - $97,000 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) What you will do • Accurately create and maintain bills of material, routings, and work orders • Accurately maintain MRP data to ensure proper stocking levels are kept and purchased parts and materials are delivered on time • Plan and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules • Coordinate with other planners to establish sequence and lead time of each operation, to meet ship dates according to sales forecasts and customer orders • Plan sequence of fabrication and assembly for manufacturing What we require • High School diploma or GED equivalent with additional college credits or degree preferred in business or supply chain management • Minimum 3 years of relevant production planning experience in a manufacturing environment • Experienced in forecasting inventory purchasing requirements • Ability to utilize MRP and ERP systems • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis and reporting What we prefer • AICP certification • Previous experience working in industry w/ durable goods • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations What we offer • Taking Care of our Employees on Day One with Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance coverage options.
