About the role: As a Mechanical Engineering intern, you will be part of a dynamic team and contribute to the development of technical products and systems. You will report to the LEU+ Process Engineering Manager and be located at our Hopkins, SC facility. This is a paid full-time position for the summer, May - August 2027. Key Responsibilities: • Support creation of hardware design documentation such as equipment drawings and process and instrumentation diagrams • Support hands-on design of manufacturing equipment • Support development of container hardware design specifications • Support creation of documentation for procurement and manufacturing • Support resolution of technical issues including first-of-a-kind implementation • Support development of test procedures and execution of functional tests Qualifications: • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering • Completed Sophomore year of college We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices.
