Key Responsibilities • Layout, plan, and execute electrical installations using design drawings, schematics, and blueprints. • Lead and supervise small work crews on commercial, industrial, and healthcare jobsites. • Install, repair, and test wiring, lighting, switchgear, and conductive elements to ensure compliance with local/national codes. • Maintain accountability for site tools, equipment, and materials; strictly adhere to company safety policies (Haz-Com, Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space). Core Requirements & Vetting Criteria • Licensing: Active State of Connecticut Journeyman Electrical License (E-2 or E-1) required. • Credentials: Valid Driver’s License (clean record); must pass background check and drug/alcohol screening. • Capabilities: Comfort working at heights (ladders, scaffolds, aerial lifts) and in restricted/confined spaces; able to lift/carry up to 50 lbs. • Certifications: OSHA 30 and NFPA 70E strongly preferred. • Skills: Strong blueprint reading, conductor phasing/color code identification, and crew communication skills.
