Electrical Estimator | Kansas City, MO | On-Site | $80K-$105K + Bonus + Profit Sharing One of Kansas City’s most established electrical contractors is looking for an estimator who can own a bid from first takeoff to final number. Must-Haves • 2+ years of electrical estimating experience, commercial construction preferred • 5+ years of hands-on experience with electrical systems, materials, and industry standards • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Trimble Accubid v16 a strong plus • Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience Nice to Have • Experience estimating projects $10M+; candidates who have worked large-scale bids will stand out About the Company One of the largest and most respected union electrical contractors in the Midwest, this Kansas City-based firm has been delivering complex electrical construction since 1974. What You’ll Do – Build accurate labor and material estimates for electrical construction projects from drawings, specs, and schedules – Solicit, evaluate, and condition subcontractor and supplier pricing – Price specialty and standard equipment; maintain and update cost databases – Identify risks, assumptions, and clarifications and communicate them clearly to project leadership – Support value engineering and preconstruction pricing efforts – Hand off bids cleanly to project teams for execution Why This Role This is not a support-level estimating seat.
