Electrical Engineer, Power Supply Design Location: Huntsville, AL Job Type: Full-time Pay: $120,000 to $130,000 per year Design the power supplies and circuits behind next-generation wireless devices, combining hands-on engineering with direct customer impact. Must-Haves • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering • 5+ years of hands-on electronic circuit design experience • Strong power supply design and circuit simulation skills • Solid EMI/EMC knowledge • Experience with LTspice, TINA, Altium, or equivalent tools • Ability to evaluate PCB layouts and diagnose electrical performance issues • Comfort communicating directly with customers What You’ll Do • Design, simulate, and validate electronic circuits, with a focus on power supplies • Optimize EMI/EMC performance for wireless devices • Troubleshoot noise, emissions, and circuit stability through analysis and testing • Review schematics and guide PCB layout decisions with dedicated layout designers • Evaluate customer requirements and recommend practical solutions • Support technical proposals and customer discussions • Document designs and test results while balancing performance, cost, and manufacturability Nice-to-Haves • Wireless or RF device experience • Background in automotive, medical, commercial, networking, or consumer electronics Compensation and Benefits • $120,000 to $130,000 per year About the Company Our client is an electronics product development company in Huntsville designing wireless devices for a range of industries.
