Titan Security is currently hiring a Security Officer to work at a location in Melvindale, Michigan. Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to: • Provide excellent customer service to all parties encountered while on duty, including assisting with directions and general business information. • Must be able to walk 5-10 miles per shift doing rounds. • Must have good working knowledge of computers, sending emails, logging information. • Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time. • Control access for patrons, visitors or vendors as required. • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises. • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences. • Monitor the assigned lots and conduct mobile patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment. • Maintain clear, accurate logs pertaining to people or property including packages. • Effectively utilize access control systems and CCTV systems as needed. • Ensure guests and vendors are properly greeted when entering the building. • Observe departing personnel to guard against theft. • Monitor security cameras that are within the facility. • Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management. • Various Admin Duties. • Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications of Security Officer: • Must be at least 18 years of age. • Must have a valid Drivers License • High School diploma or general education degree (GED). • Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. • Able to read, write, speak, and understand English. • Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather Pay and Benefits of Security Officer • Starting pay is $14.00 per hour. • Paid time off and paid holidays! • Opportunities for career growth and promotion! • Medical, dental, and vision benefits! • Pension/Retirement 401K benefits! • Skills-enhancing training EOE/M/F/D/V #HP
