The Missing Grain – 100% Gluten-Free Bakery & Café Linthicum Heights, Maryland Typical shift: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM Full-time and part-time positions available Weekend availability required The Missing Grain is looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Barista / Front of House Team Members who enjoy providing excellent customer service. Our front-of-house team creates a welcoming experience for every guest while maintaining the high standards of our 100% gluten-free bakery and café. Key Responsibilities · Greet customers and provide friendly, attentive service · Take orders accurately using our POS system · Prepare espresso drinks, coffee, tea, cold beverages, and other café drinks · Package and serve bakery and café products · Answer customer questions about menu items and ingredients · Assist customers with gluten-free and available dairy-free options · Maintain bakery displays and customer service areas · Restock cups, lids, packaging, beverages, and supplies · Clean counters, tables, beverage equipment, and dining areas · Follow opening, closing, and cash-handling procedures · Communicate clearly with bakery and kitchen team members · Follow all food-safety, sanitation, allergen-awareness, and gluten-free procedures Skills, Knowledge and Expertise · Friendly and professional · Dependable and punctual · Strong customer-service skills · Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment · Willing to learn espresso and beverage preparation · Strong attention to cleanliness and order accuracy · Barista, café, restaurant, retail, or customer-service experience preferred but not required · Weekend availability is required 100% Gluten-Free Workplace The Missing Grain is a 100% gluten-free facility.
