Compensation • Starting pay: $21.97 - $27.11 an hour, based on experience, qualifications, and location • Once assigned a route: average total annual compensation for Route Sales & Service Representatives exceeds $80,000, with uncapped commission potential based on the new business and account growth you drive • Career path from Route Relief Driver into a dedicated Route Sales & Service Representative territory Benefits • Medical, dental, and vision insurance • Retirement savings program • Paid time off (sick, holiday, vacation) • Full-time employment with full benefits Qualifications Duties & Responsibilities • Own and grow a designated route; this is account management and outside sales, not just delivery • Call on prospective customers to solicit new business and inform regular customers of new products or services • Upsell existing customers on additional products and services • Drive a truck to deliver and pick up linen, uniforms, and related products on schedule; load and unload the truck • Build long-term customer relationships through responsive, professional service; listen to and resolve service complaints, keeping your supervisor informed • Maintain inventory and follow company inventory-control policies • Handle invoicing, collections, customer signatures, and accurate delivery and transaction records • Clean and perform routine maintenance on your truck, and maintain a professional appearance at every stop • Learn new technology and systems quickly and adapt to updates independently • Attend training and service department meetings Required Skills & Qualifications • Proven sales and customer service experience (required) • Valid Class C driver's license (no CDL required) with a clean driving record for the last 3 years (required) • Ability to drive a 26’ bobtail truck • Comfortable loading/unloading your own truck with bags of linen up to 50 lbs daily (required) • Must pass a drug test and clinic physical • Tech-savvy, with the ability to learn new systems with minimal training Related Roles & Key Skills Route Sales Representative, Route Sales and Service Representative, RSSR, Route Sales Driver, Route Driver, Route Relief Driver, Delivery Driver, No CDL Required, Class C License, Bobtail Driver, B2B Sales, Outside Sales, Account Manager, Commission Sales, Customer Service, Uniform and Linen Services, Industrial Laundry Ready to Start Selling?
