Job Description As a Elite Armed Security Warehouse in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMFri02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to clients, customers, and store associates while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. • Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner. • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the exterior perimeter. • Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, and report observations to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership. • Maintain assigned equipment and complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift records in accordance with site procedures. Minimum Requirements: • Possess 3+ years' combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience or 5+ years of armed security-related experience. • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. • Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas. • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Participate in industry-specific security training programs. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
