Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Observation in Shreveport, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $15.76 / Hour Weekly Pay Job Schedule: DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMWed02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location. • Respond to incidents, alarms, hazardous-condition notifications, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and escalation procedures. • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facility buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify visitor and contractor authorization, and maintain required logs and documentation in accordance with site procedures. • Communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership, and complete accurate incident reports as needed. Minimum Requirements: • Possess at least two years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience. • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
