Key Responsibilities: • Curriculum development. Create lesson plans aligned with applicable standards and student needs, incorporating diverse teaching methods and activities to cater to different learning styles. • Instructional delivery. Teach concepts clearly and effectively, utilizing visual aids, technology, and real-world applications to enhance understanding. • Student assessment. Regularly monitor student progress through quizzes, tests, projects, and class participation to identify strengths and areas needing additional support. • Individualized learning. Provide differentiated instruction to address the diverse needs of students, offering extra help or enrichment activities as required. • Classroom management. Requirements Education: • A bachelor’s degree in the appropriate subject is required at a minimum; a master’s degree is preferred. • Formal classroom teaching experience preferred. • AP Experience Preferred Mathematics Required Skills: • Strong mathematical knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of mathematical concepts across various levels including Advanced Placement courses; Pre-Calculus, Calculus and Statistics. • Excellent communication skills: Ability to clearly explain complex mathematical ideas in an accessible way to students of varying abilities. • Teaching pedagogy: Knowledge of effective teaching methods, including inquiry-based learning, differentiated instruction, and cooperative learning. • Classroom management skills: Ability to create a positive learning environment, manage student behavior, and foster collaboration. • Assessment expertise: Skills to design valid and reliable assessments to accurately measure student learning. • Technology proficiency: Ability to integrate technology tools into math instruction to enhance engagement and learning
