Responsibilities: • Patrol racetrack grounds, grandstands, parking lots, stables, and restricted areas. • Monitor entrances and exits, checking credentials and controlling access to authorized personnel. • Ensure the safety and security of spectators, staff, horses, and racing participants. • Observe and report suspicious activity, security risks, or rule violations. • Respond promptly to emergencies, disturbances, medical incidents, and fire alarms. • Assist with crowd management during race events and special functions. • Enforce venue policies and applicable laws while maintaining professionalism. • Conduct security inspections and monitor CCTV surveillance systems. • Prepare accurate incident, accident, and daily activity reports. • Work closely with law enforcement, emergency responders, and race officials when required. • Assist with evacuations and emergency procedures as directed. • Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors with directions and general inquiries. Competencies: • Strong observation and situational awareness. • Excellent communication and conflict-resolution skills. • Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods. • Basic computer skills for report writing and security systems.
