Your future role at a glance • Location: Elk Grove Village, IL • Facility: Alexian Rehab Hospital • Department: Patient Registration • Schedule: Day shift l PRN How you’ll make an impact in this role • Coordinate and schedule patient procedures based on prescribed orders, optimizing patient time and clinical resources while ensuring accurate communication with patients, participants, and staff. • Perform patient registration and clerical duties, accurately collecting and entering demographic, insurance, and clinical information into appropriate systems. • Coordinate procedure schedules and assist with insurance pre-certification and authorization activities, resolving scheduling and procedural issues through appropriate resources. • Provide patients, participants, and representatives with clear pre-service requirements, instructions, and support while. What minimum requirements you’ll need Education: • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
