Your future role at a glance Location: Anderson, IN Facility: Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Department/Specialty: Medical | Tele | Progressive Care | Step Down Schedule: Nights | Full Time | 6:00pm - 6:30am | Every third weekend and rotating holidays How you’ll make an impact in this role • Manage complex patient recovery journeys by continuously monitoring physiological changes and adapting care plans to ensure safety during the critical transition toward healing. • Advocate for patient needs by serving as the central coordinator between physicians, therapists, and specialists, ensuring a unified and high-quality approach to treatment. • Execute clinical orders with precision and foresight, translating medical instructions into compassionate, hands-on care for patients with high-acuity needs. • Facilitate a confident transition home by assessing discharge readiness and collaborating with the healthcare team to provide patients and families with the tools they need for a successful recovery. What minimum requirements you’ll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Education: • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
