Job Title: Manufacturing Technical Engineer Job Description Join our team as a Manufacturing Technical Engineer, where you will support a major automotive manufacturing OEM. You will collaborate with product design teams from the feasibility stage through the design phase to ensure the product is manufacturable within the factory's capabilities. You will also work closely with MMCs to prepare and execute the trial phase of new model development. Responsibilities • Conduct feasibility studies on new technologies, design concepts, and equipment. • Review drawings with internal teams and customers to verify design. • Identify past model problem history and opportunities for cost savings and safety improvements. • Communicate change points to relevant departments and submit countermeasure request forms to the R&D Department for quality, cost, delivery, safety, and assembly improvements. • Develop and present project status updates, change points, and recommendations. Document trial problems and discuss countermeasures. • Support quality problem resolution and recommend countermeasures. • Assist with equipment installations and robot programming. • Support build event preparation and execution. Additional Skills & Qualifications • Experience in document development using standardized templates. • MUST HAVE CATIA EXPERIENCE • Proficiency in data loading and auditing. • Development of efficient manufacturing processes. • Conducting equipment/process time studies. • Plant safety evaluation and implementation. • Maintaining AutoCAD layouts. • Proficiency in software such as Catia (V6 & V5), AutoCAD, MS Office tools, and M.O.S.T. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $45.00/hr.
