• Typically requires a bachelors or masters degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelors degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education. • Must possess the ability to develop and communicate new concepts; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule, and coordinate work phases; and, determine the appropriate approach at the task level or, with assistance, at the project level to provide solutions to a range of complex problems. • Strong computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MSProject, CREO, and Team Center) and communication skills (Verbal and written). • Must be customer focused and able to work on a self-initiated basis or in a team environment and able to work extended hours as required. Desired Qualifications: • Working knowledge of electromechanical systems with experience. • Design mechanical test equipment, such as test racks and fixtures for testing PWA’s, actuators, and servos, utilizing CREO (preferred). • Experience in writing technical documents such as test procedures and test reports. • Experience in communicating technical information to peers and to customers. • Working knowledge of electromechanical systems in the area of packaging experience for a production environment. • Working knowledge of electrical systems and experience with PWB’s and cable assy’s. • Have a desire to work in a fast-paced testing environment. • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance is required.
