Philadelphia, PA Area | $75,000–$90,000 Base + Performance Bonus We are seeking an experienced QSR Area Coach / District Manager to join a growing, well-established quick-service restaurant franchise in the Philadelphia area. Our ideal candidate has a strong background in multi-unit QSR operations, with proven experience overseeing multiple restaurant locations, developing General Managers, controlling costs, and driving profitability. We are looking for a hands-on leader who understands the fast-paced demands of the QSR industry and can improve underperforming locations, build strong management teams, maintain brand standards, and deliver consistent operational results. Candidates must be based in Philadelphia or on the Pennsylvania side of the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Area Coach / District Manager Responsibilities • Oversee operations and performance across approximately 5-6 QSR restaurant locations. • Recruit, train, coach, and develop Restaurant General Managers and their leadership teams. • Improve underperforming restaurants by implementing effective operational strategies and holding teams accountable. • Manage restaurant financial performance, including P&L, labor costs, food costs, inventory, and controllable expenses. • Drive sales growth, operational efficiency, profitability, and guest satisfaction across assigned locations. • Review restaurant performance metrics, staffing levels, schedules, and financial results to identify opportunities for improvement. • Conduct regular restaurant visits, operational audits, and performance evaluations. • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety regulations, health inspections, and brand operating standards. • Develop future restaurant leaders while building a strong culture of accountability, teamwork, and employee retention. • Work directly with General Managers to improve speed of service, food quality, customer experience, and overall restaurant performance. Area Coach / District Manager Qualifications • Previous multi-unit management experience in QSR operations is required. • 5-6 years of supervisory or management experience in the restaurant, food service, or related industry. • Experience with established QSR brands such as Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's, Taco Bell, KFC, Popeyes, or similar concepts preferred. • Proven experience overseeing multiple restaurant locations and developing successful General Managers. • Demonstrated ability to improve struggling locations and deliver measurable operational and financial results. • Strong understanding of restaurant P&L, labor management, food costs, inventory, and profitability. • Experience managing restaurant performance metrics, operational audits, and brand compliance. • Demonstrated success recruiting, coaching, developing, and retaining restaurant management teams. • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities. • Hands-on leadership style with the ability to support restaurant teams and drive operational improvements. • Stable employment history and demonstrated career progression preferred. • Ability to travel regularly between assigned restaurant locations. • Must reside in Philadelphia or on the Pennsylvania side of the Philadelphia metropolitan area.
