A global venture capital firm is seeking a Fund Administrator and Corporate Paralegal for its San Francisco office. This is a high-ownership role reporting directly to the firm’s General Counsel. It supports fund administration and legal operations for the firm’s seed-stage scout fund, with the opportunity to expand into broader firm responsibilities over time. The successful candidate will take internal ownership of the scout fund’s administration. Duties include preparing and maintaining fund and investor documentation, managing investor communications, and coordinating with external administrators, accountants, and advisors. The role also supports investments, follow-ons, exits, and IPO-related activity, including wires, closing logistics, closing binders, and tracking key terms and deadlines. On the governance side, the role prepares LP meeting and advisory board materials, coordinates regulatory filings, manages entities across jurisdictions, and helps bring fund administration workflows in-house from external providers. Candidates should have 6+ years of experience as a corporate or fund paralegal, an in-house paralegal at a VC, PE, or investment firm, or a fund administrator. Experience with fund documentation, transactions, or complex entity structures is required. Candidates should also be highly organized, discreet, and comfortable working with senior executives and investors. The firm offers a hybrid schedule of 2–3 days per week in office. The salary range is $160,000–$220,000 plus bonus and a competitive benefits package.
