Summary: Provides administrative and secretarial support to one or more nursing units and serves as a point of contact for staff, patients, caregivers, and other healthcare organizations. Responsibilities: • Meets expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. • Greeting and directing visitors, relaying information and messages to patients and medical staff, and facilitating communication between the care unit and other healthcare providers. • Answering telephones, distributing mail, preparing and filing paperwork, and ordering and storing supplies. • Maintaining and updating patient records; preparing admission and discharge paperwork • Filing test and lab reports within medical records. • Coordinating patient services by scheduling tests, treatments, and consultations for patients and arranging for patient transfers. • Performs administrative activities in compliance with all regulations. Requirements: • High School Diploma • A minimum of 1 year of related experience. Work Schedule: 7AM - 7PM Work Type: Full Time
