Responsibilities • Assure full regulatory compliance of department • Maintain accountability for controlled substances • Assure full compliance with accreditation standards • Practice good resource stewardship • Design, implement, and sustain pharmacy services to meet the needs of patient populations served • Model appropriate behaviors and practice standards • Collaborate with stakeholders across the system to improve care and efficiency • Recruit, retain, mentor, develop, and discipline staff as appropriate • Communicate effectively up and down the organization • Completes all mandatory department, educational and hospital requirements • Adheres to current Infection Control and Safety Standards • Regular and prompt attendance • Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required • Related duties as assigned Additional Information Employees must be in a regular position, working 20 hours or more per week (.50 FTE or greater) to qualify for benefits. Qualifications • • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm D from accredited school of pharmacy, 5 years of pharmacy experience, 3 of which were in a supervisory capacity Required • Pharm D/MBA/MHA/MPA Preferred • RPH - Registered Pharmacist - Current, unencumbered AL pharmacist license Upon Hire Required • Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute for the above requirements.
