Responsibilities The AutoCAD Operator performs entry-level drafting and design support tasks for geotechnical engineering projects under the direction of senior staff. This role is primarily office-based and involves preparing engineering drawings, site maps, and technical figures using AutoCAD software. The AutoCAD Operator develops technical drafting skills over time and may assist with additional project-related tasks as experience grows. The role maintains a positive customer service attitude and demonstrates an understanding of ECS Core Values. Responsibilities • Assists with drafting and design support for geotechnical and geostructural engineering projects • Prepares drawings, figures, and layouts using AutoCAD under supervision • Develops site maps, soil boring logs, and soil boring location diagrams • Drafts soil profiles and related geotechnical visualizations • Assists in preparing engineering drawings (e.g., retaining walls, slopes, foundations, drainage systems) • Drafts engineering details and figures for reports and deliverables • Supports preparation of reports, drawings, and project documentation • Performs other project-related tasks as assigned Qualifications Required Qualifications • 0 years of related experience • High school diploma or GED required.
