This role is ideal for a skilled technician who enjoys leading installations, mentoring helpers, and delivering professional heating and air conditioning installations that customers can rely on. Residential HVAC Installation • Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, condensers, air handlers, and boilers • Perform AC installation and furnace installation for residential customers • Install ductwork, thermostats, and indoor air quality (IAQ) products • Ensure installations meet manufacturer specifications and local HVAC codes System Startup & Quality Control • Perform system start-ups and operational testing • Verify proper airflow, refrigerant charge, and system performance • Ensure clean, professional HVAC installations Team Leadership • Lead and coordinate installation crews • Mentor installation helpers and apprentices • Follow safety procedures and best practices Customer Experience • Communicate clearly with homeowners during installations • Educate customers on system operation and maintenance • Represent the Aire Serv brand professionally HVAC Installer Requirements Minimum Qualifications • 3+ years of residential HVAC installation experience • Experience installing heating and air conditioning systems • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record • Ability to lift 60 lbs • Strong communication and customer service skills • Professional attitude and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications • EPA Certification • Experience as a Lead Installer or HVAC Technician • Experience installing ductwork and IAQ products • Boiler installation experience Work Environment This role may include working in: • Attics • Crawlspaces • Tight mechanical areas • Residential homes Installers occasionally remain on site until the system is fully operational and the installation is completed properly.
