Fund Controller Key Responsibilities & Duties • Reconcile NAVs for funds, ensuring consistency and accuracy in calculations. • Prepare and deliver detailed financial reports to internal and external stakeholders. • Oversee the review of annual financial statements and support audit processes. • Calculate and review advisory fees, including management and incentive fees. • Coordinate regulatory reporting and respond to investor inquiries effectively. • Analyze performance metrics across complex financial strategies and instruments. • Lead initiatives to implement automation and AI-enabled solutions for process optimization. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency and scalability. • Engage in special projects to support organizational goals and innovation. Fund Controller Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is required. • Minimum of 8 years of experience, with 15 years preferred in relevant roles. • Experience with financial products like fixed income securities and derivatives is advantageous. • Proficiency in leveraging AI tools for automation and process improvement is preferred. • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential. • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams. • Ability to lead initiatives and manage complex financial strategies effectively. • Commitment to in-office work arrangement to foster collaboration and team synergy. • Experience in a fast-paced, growth-oriented investment management environment is a plus.
