Proposal Manager Key Responsibilities & Duties • Manage, train, and develop a marketing team focused on strategic pursuits, ensuring their growth and performance excellence. • Develop and oversee strategic pursuit plans, managing deliverables from inception to completion with compliance and responsiveness. • Collaborate with pursuit leaders to improve processes and innovate solutions for enhanced quality and efficiency. • Edit and proof content for proposals and presentations, ensuring compelling responses and adherence to brand standards. • Maintain marketing databases and materials, including project lists and personnel resumes, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. • Establish and follow processes to ensure quality proposals and adherence to organizational standards. • Coordinate across multiple offices and markets, providing leadership and hands-on support for pursuit activities. • Support additional duties, such as managing consultants, developing award strategies, and collecting case studies. Proposal Manager Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 5-7 years of experience in the A/E/C industry. • Proven supervisory experience and a track record of successful pursuit/proposal development. • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator. • Comfort with AI-powered tools and curiosity for exploring emerging technologies. • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational skills with persuasive writing and editing capabilities. • Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and coordinate across time zones. • Willingness to travel as needed and work outside normal business hours for project deadlines. • A team player with an entrepreneurial spirit and a commitment to excellence and innovation.
