Senior Forward Deployed Engineer Key Responsibilities & Duties • Design, implement, and maintain ontology-driven applications within Palantir Foundry. • Develop operational dashboards, workflows, and actions for leadership and operational teams. • Govern enterprise ontology objects, relationships, and reusable data models. • Support production operations, including incident response and troubleshooting. • Partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions. • Lead deployment promotion, release management, and environment governance. • Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures. • Mentor engineers on best practices in ontology design and application architecture. • Identify opportunities to enhance platform reliability and scalability. Senior Forward Deployed Engineer Job Requirements • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant field. • Minimum of 5 years of experience, with 7 years preferred. • Deep expertise with Palantir Foundry, including Ontology Manager and Workshop. • Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, Java, or similar languages. • Experience integrating ERP, GIS, and operational systems into Foundry. • Strong understanding of governance, release management, and platform support models. • Ability to lead complex technical initiatives with limited oversight. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. • Experience mentoring engineers and providing technical direction.
