Key Responsibilities & Duties • Perform initial and ongoing patient assessments, documenting findings accurately and comprehensively. • Administer and monitor procedural interventions, ensuring adherence to established protocols. • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. • Provide patient education regarding procedures, recovery, and discharge instructions. • Utilize effective communication skills to relay pertinent information using standardized formats. • Support peers and contribute to team initiatives, fostering a collaborative work environment. • Participate in professional development sessions and nursing practice quality initiatives. • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Job Requirements • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or enrollment in RN-BSN or RN-MSN program. • California Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification as required by the department. • Minimum of one year of acute care RN experience or completion of a nurse residency program. • Preferred experience in cardiology or specialty area. • Strong assessment, communication, and problem-solving skills. • Commitment to professional development and adherence to compliance standards. • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and maintain professionalism in stressful situations.
