Operations Manager, Private Credit Overview • The Operations Manager, Private Credit will oversee operational aspects of credit investment strategies, ensuring data integrity and compliance. • Collaborate with investment teams to manage complex transactions, including bank debt, equity/options, and FX. • Lead reconciliation of credit portfolio positions, cash, and P&L, resolving discrepancies effectively. • Prepare and review reporting for portfolio managers and senior management, maintaining data accuracy. • Support audits and regulatory reporting, acting as a subject matter expert on portfolio records. • Drive process improvements to reduce risk and enhance operational efficiency. • Partner with technology teams to automate workflows and refine system capabilities. • Uphold compliance standards and risk management protocols, proactively addressing gaps. • Contribute to a hybrid work environment that supports work-life balance and professional growth. Operations Manager, Private Credit Key Responsibilities & Duties • Reconcile credit portfolio positions, cash, and P&L, resolving breaks and escalating exceptions. • Serve as the primary operational contact for borrowers, lenders, and agent parties. • Review and approve funds flows for accuracy and completeness prior to release. • Ensure timely and accurate booking and reporting aligned with legal agreements. • Coordinate month-end deliverables with finance teams and external administrators. • Prepare regular and ad-hoc reporting for portfolio managers and senior management. • Support audits and regulatory reporting, ensuring compliance with standards. • Identify and lead process improvements to enhance operational workflows. • Collaborate with technology teams to define requirements and refine system capabilities. Operations Manager, Private Credit Job Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. • 5-8 years of experience in loan operations, investment accounting, or fund administration. • Strong understanding of credit products, including bonds, loans, and derivatives. • Demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows or portfolios independently. • Experience with Geneva, WSO, Allvue, iLevel, and Power BI is advantageous. • Advanced Excel skills and comfort with large datasets and reconciliations. • Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to credit investments. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, organized and process-oriented.
