Licensed Practical Nurse Key Responsibilities & Duties • Provide direct patient care, ensuring safety, comfort, and satisfaction in a geriatric healthcare setting. • Perform charge nurse responsibilities as assigned, including overseeing care delivery and managing team workflows. • Collaborate with Registered Nurses and Clinical Care Managers to implement effective patient care plans. • Administer medications and treatments following established protocols and procedures. • Monitor and document patient conditions, reporting changes to supervising clinical staff promptly. • Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain high standards of care delivery. • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational policies at all times. • Foster a positive and supportive environment for patients and colleagues alike.
