Director of Nursing Emergency Room Job Requirements • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution required. • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license within the state of practice mandatory. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in critical care nursing and emergency services. • Preferred 5 years of experience in director-level roles within acute care settings. • Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (within 6 months of hire), and TNCC (within 1 year of hire). • Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written; additional language skills preferred. • Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with healthcare systems and software. • Strong interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with patients, families, and internal partners. • Ability to lead and inspire teams, ensuring alignment with organizational vision and values.
