Role Overview We are looking for a highly driven and dynamic Area Business Manager to lead and expand our wound care business across Karnataka. The ideal candidate will have 4–5 years of proven experience in the medical device or wound care sector, with a solid track record in government tenders, institutional sales, and business development. Key Responsibilities 📈 Sales Strategy & Execution • Develop and implement territory-specific sales strategies to achieve set targets. • Identify and capitalize on growth opportunities in government, private, and institutional segments. 🤝 Business Development • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders: hospital administrators, procurement heads, and clinicians. • Drive new customer acquisition and institutional onboarding. 📝 Tender & Institutional Sales • Manage and lead government tenders, rate contracts, and pricing negotiations. • Work closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, regulatory affairs, and marketing to support business objectives. • Deliver timely reports, forecasts, and market intelligence Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, or a related field (MBA preferred). • 4–5 years of experience in medical/wound care product sales. • Strong background in government tenders and institutional sales. • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. • Willingness to travel extensively within Karnataka. Preferred Experience • Prior experience with advanced wound care products, surgical dressings, or disposables. • Established network in public and private healthcare institutions. • Demonstrated ability to drive sales in both urban and semi-urban markets.
