Job Title Registered Nurse – Oncology (BMT / Hematology Oncology) Location Columbus, OH Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct inpatient nursing care to patients with complex hematologic and oncologic diagnoses including leukemias, lymphomas, multiple myeloma, myelodysplastic syndrome, and related conditions • Administer chemotherapy and support patients undergoing autologous, syngeneic, and allogeneic stem cell transplants as well as CAR-T therapy • Perform telemetry monitoring, interpret dysrhythmias, and utilize Rapid Response Teams as clinically indicated • Manage central lines, PICC lines, and peripheral lines including sterile dressing changes and central line blood draws • Administer blood products and provide feeding tube care and management • Document all patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic health record system Required Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of inpatient Medical-Surgical and inpatient hematology oncology experience • Active Registered Nurse license – valid compact or state license required at time of submission; must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system • Demonstrated skills in telemetry monitoring, chemotherapy administration, blood product administration, and vascular access management (central line, PICC, peripheral) Preferred Experience / Skills • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • Experience in a mixed acuity PCU or Medical-Surgical/Telemetry unit • Familiarity with bone marrow transplant nursing care and CAR-T therapy protocols Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a specialized oncology and bone marrow transplant unit caring for a diverse and complex patient population • Contract position offering exposure to advanced oncologic therapies including stem cell transplantation and CAR-T therapy
