Job Title Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Location Evanston, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend (Friday and Saturday nights) | Holidays as needed Key Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients in a high-acuity Level 3 setting • Monitor and assess antepartum and postpartum patients as part of comprehensive maternal care • Perform and interpret electronic fetal monitoring throughout patient care • Utilize telemetry monitoring to support patient safety and clinical decision-making • May float to the antepartum unit as needed based on staffing requirements Required Qualifications • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license • Current CPR certification required • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system • Strong Level 3 Labor and Delivery experience, including antepartum and postpartum care • Competency in electronic fetal monitoring Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with telemetry monitoring in a maternal care setting • Familiarity with antepartum unit workflows and patient population Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a high-acuity Level 3 Labor and Delivery environment with a dynamic and experienced clinical team • Contract placement offering flexibility and competitive compensation in a reputable facility
