Job Title • Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Acute MedSurg Location • San Antonio, TX Schedule / Job Type • Full-time, Days, 12-hour shifts Key Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to patients in a hospital setting with a focus on telemetry, surgical, respiratory, and rehab units. • Assess patient conditions, develop, implement, and evaluate care plans in accordance with professional standards. • Administer medications and treatments using established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness. • Document patient histories, symptoms, medications, and care activities accurately in the electronic health record system. • Educate patients and families regarding care plans, medications, and post-discharge instructions. • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care and safety. Required Qualifications • Valid RN license in Texas or a compact state. • BLS certification (AHA). • Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in acute or med-surgical care. • Epic experience preferred. Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with trach/vent and high flow oxygen management recommended but not required. • Rehab nursing experience is a plus but not mandatory.
