Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Evanston, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 12 Weeks | Days | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Telemetry/Medical-Surgical unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5 • Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and cardiac rhythms for patients with a variety of diagnoses including Neurosurgery, Urology, Orthopedics, and Surgical Overflow • Manage patient care across an expected length of stay of 3–4 days in a Level 1 Trauma Center environment • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Epic EMR • May be required to float to alternate facilities as needed Required Qualifications • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License • Current CPR Certification • Current ACLS Certification • Minimum 2+ years of RN experience in a Level 1 Trauma Center setting • Proficiency with Epic EMR • Passing EKG test score of 80% or higher required at time of submittal • New graduates are not eligible for this position Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience with Neurosurgery, Urology, Orthopedics, or Surgical Overflow patient populations • Comfort with floating to multiple hospital locations within a health system Why Join Us • Opportunity to work within a high-acuity Level 1 Trauma Center on a dynamic Telemetry unit • Bi-weekly payroll with a structured 12-week contract engagement
