Job Title Registered Nurse – Mother Baby / Postpartum Location Columbus, OH | Mother Baby / Postpartum Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care to postpartum and mother-baby patients in an acute care setting • Perform IV starts and manage IV therapy as part of routine patient care • May be required to float to units of similar patient acuity • Document patient care accurately and efficiently using EPIC electronic health records • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to support positive patient outcomes Required Qualifications • Valid RN license — compact or Ohio state license required and must be in hand at time of submission • Minimum 2 years of postpartum / mother-baby nursing experience • BLS certification required • IV certification required; demonstrated IV start skills • Labor and delivery (L&D) experience required • Nursing education must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program • 2 professional references required; at least 1 must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role (charge RN acceptable as second reference; no coworker references) • Local candidates are welcome and accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • Previous travel nursing experience • Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a high-volume, well-established postpartum care environment with a collaborative clinical team • Day shift schedule offering a consistent and structured work-life balance
