Job Title Certified Surgical Technologist – Operating Room Location Liberty, MO | Outpatient Surgery / ASC-Style Setting Schedule / Job Type Contract (13 Weeks) | 4x10-Hour Days | Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–5:00 PM | No Weekend or On-Call Requirements Key Responsibilities • Perform scrub technologist duties in an outpatient surgery department operating in an ASC-style environment • Support surgical procedures across specialties including ENT, orthopedics, plastics, and breast surgery • Collaborate closely within a small, cohesive OR team consisting of circulator RNs and full-time scrub techs • Float within the same building to the main OR area as needed • Utilize the Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts) EMR system; experience not required as training is provided Required Qualifications • Active CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certification required • Current BLS certification required • Surgical Technologist degree required • Minimum 1 year of Surgical Technologist experience required • New graduates will not be considered Preferred Experience / Skills • Several years of surgical technologist experience preferred • Experience across multiple surgical specialties (ENT, orthopedics, plastics, and/or breast) preferred • Familiarity with Cerner or similar EMR platforms is a plus Why Join Us • Work in a smoke-free facility with a supportive, tight-knit OR team and no weekend or on-call obligations • No prior EMR experience required — the facility's system is noted to be very similar to Cerner, making for a smooth transition
