Job Title Speech Language Pathologist Location Liberty, MO Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with one Saturday morning per month (8:00 AM–12:00 PM); compensatory time is provided to keep expected weekly hours at 40 Key Responsibilities • Provide speech-language pathology services within a rehabilitation setting • Perform bedside swallow evaluations and modified barium swallow studies • Assess and treat patients with dysphagia and related communication or swallowing disorders • Document clinical findings and treatment progress using facility EMR (Altera Sunrise) • Participate in holiday coverage as needed per facility requirements Required Qualifications • Active Missouri Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required • Demonstrated experience with bedside swallow evaluations and modified barium swallow studies • New graduates will not be considered; prior clinical experience is required Preferred Experience / Skills • 3–4 years of clinical SLP experience preferred • Strong dysphagia background highly desirable • VitalStim certification is a plus but not required • Self-motivated, confident, and able to work independently with strong clinical initiative Why Join Us • Work in a smoke-free facility with no on-call or floating requirements • EMR system is noted to be highly intuitive and similar to Cerner — no prior experience with the platform is necessary
