Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Glenview, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 8-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Every-Other Weekend Required Key Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to telemetry and medical-surgical patients, including boarded patients within the Emergency Department setting • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms; EKG experience is required • Float to other medical-surgical units as patient census and staffing needs dictate • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes • Adhere to holiday coverage requirements as needed Required Qualifications • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Passing EKG test required at time of submission • Minimum 2 years of RN experience in a telemetry or medical-surgical setting • New graduates are not eligible for this position • Submission requirements include: resume, 2 professional references, skills checklist, copies of certifications and license verification, BLS, and passing EKG test Preferred Experience / Skills • 4 or more years of RN experience in telemetry or medical-surgical care • Experience with Epic electronic health records system • Prior experience managing boarded patients or working in a fast-paced acute care environment Why Join Us • Gain valuable experience in a dynamic acute care environment with exposure to both telemetry and emergency department patient populations • Biweekly payroll with a defined 8-week contract offering a structured and predictable assignment timeline
