Job Title Registered Nurse – Telemetry Location Evanston, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 10–14 Weeks | 12-Hour Night Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays as Needed Key Responsibilities • Provide direct inpatient nursing care for Med/Surg and Telemetry patients within an ICU setting • Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition • Perform neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS protocols • Float to other Med/Surg and Telemetry units as needed; first to float when floating is required • Participate in orientation as scheduled, including required non-billable orientation hours Required Qualifications • Active Illinois RN License • BLS Certification required • NIHSS Certification required • Must pass facility EKG Competency Test • Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg, Telemetry, or Neurology nursing experience • New graduates are not eligible for this position Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience caring for ICU-level or step-down inpatient populations • Familiarity with floating across multiple units in a fast-paced hospital environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment with a diverse Med/Surg and Telemetry patient population • Contract position offering flexibility with an expected schedule of 12-hour night shifts
