Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical, Telemetry Location Naperville, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 8 Weeks | Full-Time | Onsite | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 12-Hour Shifts | Every Other Weekend Required | Holidays As Needed Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit, including monitoring and managing patients with neurological and vascular conditions • Care for post-operative patients recovering from complex surgical procedures such as Whipple procedures, esophagectomies, and colon resections (no chemotherapy administration) • Monitor and manage patients with CVA/TIA, subdural conditions, and seizure disorders • Provide post-procedural care for vascular surgery patients including peripheral angiograms, PAD with wounds, and status-post amputations • Float to other Medical/Surgical units as needed • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records Required Qualifications • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) License • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification • Minimum 2 years of RN experience; new graduates not accepted • Proficiency with Epic electronic health records charting Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred • Experience in neuro telemetry with patients presenting with CVA/TIA, subdural conditions, or seizure disorders • Background in surgical oncology post-operative care or vascular surgery nursing Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic acute care environment with a diverse and complex patient population • Biweekly pay with a straightforward credentialing and onboarding process
