Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Maryville, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:30) | Onsite Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours • Assist with and monitor bedside procedures including dialysis catheter placement, thoracentesis, and incision and drainage (I&D) • Care for post-heart catheterization patients, monitoring for complications and changes in condition • Float to similar units as needed based on census demands, performing only tasks within demonstrated and documented competencies • Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system • Provide weekend coverage on an every-other-weekend basis, subject to change based on operational need Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Tennessee • BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required • Minimum 1 year of recent Medical Surgical / Telemetry experience • Minimum 1 year of EPIC EMR experience • Must live more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible at full rate; candidates residing 90–99.9 miles away may be considered at a reduced rate; candidates under 90 miles are ineligible • Pre-assignment testing and online modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials; up to 16 hours of module completion time may be reimbursable Preferred Experience / Skills • First-time travelers with strong relevant clinical experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis • Experience with Omnicell medication management systems • Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and cardiac patient care Why Join Us • Gain experience in a dynamic acute care environment with exposure to a variety of specialized bedside procedures • Orientation support provided, with pre-start modules that may be eligible for reimbursement of up to 16 hours
