Job Title Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Location Naperville, IL | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend required | Holidays as needed Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity ICU environment managing complex conditions including respiratory failure, MSOF, DKA, sepsis, vascular and general surgery patients, and alcohol and drug withdrawal • Care for behavioral health patients within the ICU setting • Float to other ICU and inpatient units within the facility as needed • Perform and document neurological assessments utilizing NIHSS • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, evidence-based care in a Level 2 Trauma Center Required Qualifications • Active Illinois Registered Nurse (RN) license • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a high-acuity ICU setting • New graduates not accepted Preferred Experience / Skills • 5 or more years of ICU experience • Prior travel nursing experience Why Join Us • Opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-acuity ICU at a Level 2 Trauma Center with a diverse and clinically challenging patient population • 12-week contract engagement offering professional growth and exposure to a wide range of critical care specialties
