Job Title Psychiatric Registered Nurse (Psych RN) Location Las Vegas, NM | Inpatient Schedule / Job Type Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Midshift (1:00 PM – 11:00 PM, 10-Hour Shifts) Key Responsibilities • Provide direct psychiatric nursing care to adult patients on a forensic inpatient unit • Monitor and assess patient mental health status, safety, and treatment progress • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to implement individualized care plans • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards • Adhere to forensic unit protocols and maintain a safe therapeutic environment Required Qualifications • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of New Mexico • Prior psychiatric nursing experience required • Must be available to complete New Mexico state fingerprinting prior to start date • Social Security card required for onboarding • Must be available to participate in a clinical interview; please be prepared to submit interview availability upon application Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience working in a forensic psychiatric setting • Familiarity with adult inpatient psychiatric care environments • Strong de-escalation and crisis intervention skills Why Join Us • Opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a specialized forensic psychiatric setting • Consistent full-time contract hours with a structured midshift schedule
