Job Title Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Observation Location Dickson, TN | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: August 10, 2026 Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Observation unit within a full-service acute care hospital • Monitor and assess patients in an observation status, identifying changes in condition and responding appropriately • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes Required Qualifications • Active RN license valid in Tennessee or a compact state license in good standing • Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience • BLS certification required • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a fast-paced acute care environment Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior experience in an Observation unit setting • Familiarity with Joint Commission standards and quality measure initiatives • Previous travel nursing experience Why Join Us • Join a recognized acute care facility known for quality awards and accreditations, including stroke rehabilitation certification • Work in a supportive, team-oriented environment with a reputation for compassionate patient care and professional growth opportunities
