Job Title Travel Physical Therapist Location Plano, TX | Acute Care / Inpatient Rehabilitation Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 13-Week Assignment | Must work 2 weekend shifts per month on a rotating basis Key Responsibilities • Provide one-on-one physical therapy treatments to patients across acute care and inpatient rehabilitation settings • Work across all floors and units within a large hospital system, including Trauma Level 1, Neuroscience, ICU, ECMO, Burn, Oncology, and Orthopedic & Spine units • Utilize therapy equipment including walking aids, bikes, parallel bars, and treadmills to support patient rehabilitation goals • Document patient care and progress using Meditech EMR • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team including Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists Required Qualifications • Active Physical Therapist (PT) license required • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital and/or inpatient rehabilitation setting • Candidates without acute care or inpatient rehabilitation experience will not be considered • Candidates whose experience consists solely of Skilled Nursing Facilities, outpatient settings, pediatrics, or school settings are generally not considered Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience in high-acuity settings such as Trauma Level 1, Neuroscience, or ICU environments • Familiarity with Meditech or similar hospital EMR systems • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly across multiple units and adapt to a dynamic clinical environment Why Join Us • Opportunity to work within a large, well-established therapy department alongside experienced PT, OT, and ST staff in a high-acuity, multi-specialty hospital environment • No on-call or floating requirements, offering a structured and predictable day-shift schedule
