Job Title Travel RN – Telemetry / IMC / MedSurg Location San Marcos, TX | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Key Responsibilities • Provides routine and complex nursing care utilizing the nursing process — including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation — for assigned patients. • Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families in accordance with scope of practice. • Administers medications and treatments per appropriate protocol; monitors for side effects and effectiveness of prescribed treatment. • Documents patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided accurately and in a timely manner. • Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers; identifies issues and available resources. • Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as needed to effectively manage the clinical situation.
