Job Title Seasonal Travel RN – Emergency Room (Day Shift) Location Independence, MO | Emergency Room Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency department patients • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment • Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in accordance with facility protocols • Respond to critical and emergent patient situations with clinical competence and composure Required Qualifications • Active RN license valid in Missouri or a compact state • Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Room nursing experience • Current BLS certification required • Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) Preferred Experience / Skills • Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting • ACLS and/or TNCC certification preferred • Experience with high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency environments Why Join Us • Seasonal travel opportunity with an expected 48 hours per week available, offering strong earning potential • Projected start date of November 2026 with a 13-week assignment providing stability and planning flexibility
