Job Title Travel RN – Medical/Surgical/Orthopedic Location Thornton, CO | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment Key Responsibilities • Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Medical Acute Care unit with a 6:1 patient-to-nurse ratio • Operate and manage Baxter IV pumps and SCD machines in accordance with unit protocols • Administer and monitor drips, including heparin, as ordered • Assist with post-operative care for radial cardiac catheterization patients • Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR • Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care technicians to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care Required Qualifications • Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or compact license eligibility) • Minimum of 1 year of current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience • BLS certification required Preferred Experience / Skills • ACLS certification • Experience with Meditech EMR • Background in orthopedic or post-operative patient care • High-energy, team-oriented personality with a strong focus on patient care quality Why Join Us • Join a high-energy, welcoming unit that values new teammates and fosters a collaborative, positive work environment • Gain experience in a well-staffed acute care setting with consistent support from charge nurses and patient care technicians
