Job Title Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry Location Seneca, SC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every other weekend required; weekend coverage may vary based on facility need Key Responsibilities • Provide direct nursing care to an adult and geriatric patient population with diagnoses including respiratory diseases, infections, dementia, and neurological conditions on a Medical Surgical unit • Utilize EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation • Administer and manage medications using the Omnicell medication system • Demonstrate Medical Surgical and Telemetry competencies, including the ability to float to MS/Tele floors as needed • Pass a facility-required EKG exam prior to or at the start of assignment • Float to other units and/or campuses based on census needs, limited to units and tasks for which competencies have been demonstrated and documented Required Qualifications • Active South Carolina RN License (or compact eligibility) • ACLS certification required • BLS certification required • NIHSS certification required • Minimum 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing preferred; candidates with 1+ year of recent relevant unit experience will be considered • Must possess MS/Tele competencies • Must live more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible for this assignment (night shift, Adult Medical Tele / Adult Multi-Specialty designation applies) Preferred Experience / Skills • Experience caring for elderly patients with complex, multi-system disease processes • Prior travel nursing experience; first-time travelers will be considered based on overall experience • Familiarity with Omnicell medication management systems Why Join Us • Work within a unit that emphasizes a healthy work environment, strong teamwork, and a dedicated charge RN every shift to support workflow and operations • Pre-assignment orientation modules may be reimbursable for up to 16 hours of completed time, as verified upon contract start
