Job Title Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift Location Asheville, NC | Acute Care Schedule / Job Type Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected start November 2026 Key Responsibilities • Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines within a high-acuity hospital setting • Operate and manage a variety of ventilators and respiratory equipment including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive devices, and Vapotherm/Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices • Document patient care accurately using the Cerner EMR system • Float to all critical care units and floor areas as needed based on patient census and staffing requirements • Participate in a rotating weekend schedule, with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule • Maintain patient ratios of approximately 10–25 patients depending on assignment and shift Required Qualifications • Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential — CRTs will not be considered • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required • Minimum of 5 years of respiratory therapy experience Preferred Experience / Skills • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification • Experience working in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings • Familiarity with Cerner EMR Why Join Us • Join a nationally recognized, high-acuity regional referral center offering exposure to a broad range of complex patient populations including trauma, stroke, cardiothoracic, and pediatric care • Work alongside a large, experienced respiratory therapy team in a facility recognized among the top hospitals in the nation for clinical quality
